Labcorp is seeking a Pricing Specialist to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Work Schedule
09:00 - 18:00 - 40 hours per week, based on a five-day working week in a hybrid mode.
This is a temporary role with a minimum duration of 18 months.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform Pricing Specialist responsibilities independently with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Maintain and distribute pricing information, retrieve and analyze data from multiple systems, and operate pricing tools, templates, and approval workflows
Review and prepare pricing requests and analyses for approval, including tracking progress and supporting pricing decisions with relevant analysis and insights
Manage M4M processes for large Special Price Requests (SPRs), including making pricing recommendations based on client size and value
Process account setups, maintenance requests, and pricing requests, ensuring customer master data is accurate, complete, and compliant with business and legal requirements
Responsible for the setup and maintenance of all customer account information (including deactivation and reactivation of accounts) meeting all business, legal, and compliance guidelines.
Receive account setup request, determine whether request requires a contract or contract update.
Document, review, and enter / update customer account information in LabCorp systems as submitted by internal or external customers.
Complete and retain audit packages.
Maintains and distributes relevant information in support of customer/test level pricing decisions
Retrieves, manipulates and understands data from multiple sources (Salesforce or other CRM, LIS, Billing system, Pricing Databases)
Operates, understands and appropriately engages all pricing templates, pricing calculators, pricing systems approval processes required to calculate and implement approved pricing
Completes all projects, including any documentation for compliance
Researches, investigates and supports resolution of pricing issues arising from customer inquiries
Prepare pre-defined documents/files of data for distribution either upon request or at pre-determined intervals
Distribute or coordinate distribution of pre-defined documents/data either upon request or at pre-determined intervals
Respond to or coordinate response to general inquiries regarding company or customer specific price elements
Understands and follows department processes and SOPs
Supports non-pricing functions within department as requested
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent;
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years of related business experience and relevant work experience in the Healthcare field.
Additional Job Standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Salesforce experience.
Experience in Customer Master and Pricing
About the role:
As a member of the Pricing and Customer Master Center of Excellence, the Pricing Specialist is an individual contributor responsible for the delivery of pricing services (including documentation and approvals), entry and maintenance of customer master data, and identification and implementation of process improvements to the same.
Customer Master: Setup and maintenance of all account information. The role is responsible for gathering account information, entering the information into LabCorp systems, and ensuring the information is accurate and up to date.
Pricing: Development and execution of pricing requests associated with proposals, customer-specific deals, general price increases, net fee schedule distribution, and / or development of standard price letters. The role is responsible for gathering pricing information and entering the information into LabCorp systems.
Provides pricing information as required to aid management with pricing decisions. Assists with gathering information for self-audits and/or various special projects including researching system and support functions. Updates and distributes reports.
