MEC Summer Tutor

By providing students with individualized, high-impact support, the Summer Tutor directly contributes to creating equitable opportunities for every learner to succeed in grades PreK-2nd. The Summer Tutor provides high-impact tutoring in reading and/or math practice to PreK-2nd grade students, helping them build essential academic skills. With guided support from coaches, the tutor uses scripted, evidence-based strategies and conducts pre- and post-test assessments, and scheduled progress monitoring to ensure each student stays on track to achieve grade level reading and math skills.
