Summary:
The Senior Director of Clinical Operations – Physician Corporations creates the vision and develops the strategy for clinical operations across the physician service corporation portfolio of clinical services in collaboration with physician leadership; cultivates networks and partnerships across the system to strengthen, enhance and develop those clinical services. Responsible for developing and overseeing the quality, patient safety and service excellence structure for all clinical services and programs within the physician service corporations. Oversees the execution of short- and long-term strategies in support of organizational goals pertinent to clinical services. Provides leadership and takes ownership for the design, structure and strategy to provide meaningful data metrics that drive clinical and operational decision making for the corporations.

Responsibilities:
* Quality, Patient Safety and Service Excellence Leadership
* Develops, leads and facilitates widespread clinical quality/process improvement project development and implementation efforts for the 162bs in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
* Proactively integrates the philosophy and practice of continuous quality improvement to meet desired goals and metrics across the system
* Plans education and support mechanisms for quality measure development and improvement strategies for 162b corporations
* Influences and executes the quality strategic and programmatic priorities across the physician corporations
* Collaborates with physician leaders to develop a quality assurance program for their respective clinical service. Once metrics are developed, initiates quality improvement projects to achieve a higher level of performance. Teaches physician leaders and their operational counterparts various approaches to process improvement (lean, PDSA cycles, value stream mapping, etc.)
* Develops and delivers appropriate communication regarding project work / analysis for executive committees, steering committees and workgroups.

 How You’ll Be Successful:

WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 10 years Nursing experience (adult or pediatric) required. 
* At least 5 years Working in quality and patient safety in acute and/or ambulatory health care setting required.
* At least 5 years Clinical leadership experience, including people management required. 
* At least 3 years Leading Quality/Process Improvement initiatives within the healthcare industry required. 

EDUCATION
* Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 
* Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience preferred. 

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* Active RN License enabling practice in the State of TX Upon Hire required. 
* CPHQ preferred. 
* Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements Upon Hire required.
