Are you a qualified accountant with Big 4 training and a passion for games? We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Investment & Optimisation team. This role acts as a shadow business partner to game teams, providing high-quality financial insight, supporting planning processes, and helping drive better investment decisions across the portfolio.

Your role within our Kingdom
You will report to the Associate Director for Investment & Optimization and play a key role in delivering robust financial planning, reporting and insight. Your responsibilities will include:
(Shadow) Business Partnering
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing insightful financial support and maintaining data integrity
- Support decision-making and problem-solving through clear financial analysis and recommendations
- Attend and contribute to business partner meetings, bringing a strong financial perspective
- Collaborate with Accenture / FinOps teams on purchase orders and month-end processes
- Contribute to accurate L1 reporting, including understanding planning deviations and P&L performance
Planning & Reporting
- Own financial planning activities for assigned areas, including OpEx, CapEx, and headcount
- Analyse, recommend, and upload planning data into relevant systems
- Perform monthly cost and headcount reconciliations, investigating and explaining variances
- Validate data inputs to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Prepare game and cost centre reports, providing analysis and insightful commentary
- Identify and communicate key risks and opportunities in a timely manner
- Proactively escalate system or data issues to the Associate Director
- Support ad hoc financial queries, reporting requests, and business cases
- Act as a Finance approver for headcount and opex, applying budget knowledge appropriately
Forecasting & Planning
- Support the quarterly and annual forecast cycles for Investment & Optimization, contributing OpEx and headcount inputs and analysis
- Validate cost centre data, investigate variances, and surface key risks and opportunities
Insight & Innovation
- Help develop new dashboards and reporting solutions to enhance visibility across commercial spend
- Explore applications of AI and automation to improve financial processes and reporting
Ad Hoc & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Perform detailed ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions
- Collaborate with Finance, Accenture, and cross-functional teams, with the opportunity to expand into broader business partnering as the role evolves
High-Scoring Skills
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, with Big 4 training preferred
- Experience in FP&A or commercial finance preferred
- Strong financial modelling skills in Excel, additional tools beneficial (e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
- Ability to build clear and compelling presentations (PowerPoint)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Experience working with planning tools (e.g. Oracle EPM) is advantageous
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator with the ability to distil complex topics into simple, actionable insights
- Curious, ambitious, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team in a fast-paced, data-rich environment
