Staff Physician (Hospitalist) - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, McGovern Medical School

UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking a full-time Staff Physician (Hospitalist) for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at McGovern Medical School. 


 Position Key Accountabilities:

• Supporting the further growth of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation clinical services and programs at Memorial Hermann Hospitals and other facilities affiliated with UTHealth Houston Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Consulting, attending, and clinic services at Memorial Hermann Hospitals and related facilities.
• Attending Physician on-call service coverage for the rehabilitation service at Memorial Hermann Hospitals and related facilities.
• Complying with all Memorial Hermann Hospital and UTHealth Houston policies, procedures, and reporting.
• Participating in McGovern Medical School and Hospital Committees.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Physician, Medical & Rehabilitation.
• Texas Medical license or the ability to obtain a license.
• Outstanding clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
