**SHIFT = Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm each day** **PAYS 40 hours**
POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager with managing, planning, and coordinating the activities of shipping, receiving and the stockrooms. This is a supervisor level position that has no direct reports and reports to the Warehouse Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages, plans, and coordinates all Warehouse activities
- Supervises and directs all assigned personnel, ensuring optimal performance
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Maintains warehouse staff by orienting and training employees
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Assumes responsibility for the maintenance and safety compliance of Warehouse facilities
- Assumes responsibility for ensuring professional business relations with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and external contacts
- Effectively supervises stockroom, shipping and receiving personnel, ensuring optimal performance
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of supervisory/management experience, including inventory management
- 6+ years of total related experience
- Ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5 am to 5:30 pm each day
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Additional related training or education

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in indoor and outdoor settings. The indoor settings include office and warehouse environments which require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and safety gear. The outdoor settings include parking lots and airplane runways. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Occasionally subject to varying inside and/or outside temperatures, which may include extreme heat (temperatures above 100 degrees) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32 degrees). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.
