Job Summary

Vaccine Clinic Registered Nurses play a vital role in delivering immunization services at both community vaccine clinics and onsite events held at employer partner locations. These professionals ensure the efficient, safe, and accurate administration of vaccines while maintaining high standards of patient care and documentation.
• Pick up required vaccine supplies from the designated vaccine hub prior to each clinic or onsite event.
• Administer vaccines according to established protocols and clinical guidelines in both community and employer partner settings.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and thoroughly during the event, including patient consent and vaccination records.
• Safeguard patient privacy and adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Return completed documentation and any unused supplies to the vaccine clinic following each event.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and site coordinators to ensure smooth event operations.

Essential Functions

  • Perform vaccine clinic responsibilities including, pre-arrangement of supplies, supervision, and assistance with set up and clean up, distributing information to clients, completing documentation, and other duties as needed in a timely manner. Act as a resource for the clerical personnel and clients.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of safety and infection control policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment. Adhere to universal precautions during each clinic.

  • Responds appropriately to adverse reactions, injuries, and other emergencies including appropriate documentation of event. Informs leader immediately of any untoward events during the clinic.

  • Assists in record-keeping of payments and inventories and verifies accuracy of collections.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire

  • LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days or

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science in Nursing
