Summary Job Description:
This position is responsible for the various tasks associated with the materials used in the Upholstery Department.
Essential Duties:
- Unload, transfer and store materials used in the Fabric Department, including: fabric rolls, card board boxes, etc, etc.
- Sweep and take out trash, keeping the department clean.
- Sort recyclable material into appropriate areas.
- Maintain supply storage areas and bins in a neat and organized manner.
- Help maintain inventory on supplies and notify supervisor is supplies run low.
- Keep floors swept, clean, and supplies put in appropriate areas.
- Cut down cardboard boxes if needed and remove to dumpster.
- Carry out any additional job duties assigned by department manager.
- Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or practices to the Supervisor
Position Requirements:
- high School diploma or GED preferred
- Great communication skills
- Previous experience is a plus
