The Banquet Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all banquet and event functions to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role oversees banquet staff, manages event setup and service, collaborates with culinary and sales teams, and ensures events are executed according to client specifications, company standards, and operational procedures. |

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
| - Plan, organize, and oversee all banquet and event operations including meetings, weddings, conferences, and special events.
- Coordinate event details with the sales team, culinary team, and clients to ensure all requirements are clearly communicated and executed.
- Supervise banquet staff during event setup, service, and breakdown.
- Ensure banquet rooms are set according to event orders, floor plans, and service standards.
- Monitor food and beverage service to ensure quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Train, schedule, and lead banquet staff to maintain efficient operations and high service standards.
- Manage labor costs through effective scheduling and staffing levels.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in banquet spaces and storage areas.
- Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to review event details, service expectations, and timelines.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of banquet supplies and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS | - 2–5 years of food and beverage or banquet service management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing large events and banquet teams.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Knowledge of banquet service styles, event setups, and food and beverage operations.
- Proficiency in scheduling, event management systems, and basic administrative functions.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to analyze market trends, forecasting reports, and sales data to inform strategy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with operational departments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS | - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25–50 pounds such as tables, chairs, and banquet equipment.
- Ability to bend, reach, and carry items as needed for event setup and breakdown.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly during service.
