POSITION SUMMARY: POSITION SUMMARY: AGI is currently looking for a Instructor Developer to support an upcoming government language instruction contract. *This contract is pending award
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clarify and document customer operational requirements, training objectives and language level of materials.
- Assist in the prioritization of requirements for training development.
- Research and leverage domain-specific language resources for relevant, authentic language content.
- Develop training materials for operational, task-based exercises.
- Collaborate with language instructors and other Government and Contractor developers in the design, development and documentation of language and domain-specific training materials.
- Collaborate with technical experts as well as other Government and Contractor instructors and developers to obtain and develop language materials.
- Develop practical evaluations to test the student's mastery of the learning and/or performance objectives.
- Identify and recommend learning applications and tools that enhance training delivery.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: All personnel hired are required to possess and maintain a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation as a condition of employment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least five years’ experience in the teaching of foreign languages.
- Must have experience in Instructional Design or be certified in Instructional Systems Development (ISD).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting a language training contract.
- Military linguist or instructor/developer experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT: 9-5 schedule or as required by the customer.
PAY RANGE: Ascensus Global (AGI) pay and level will be determined by several factors including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data.
