Responsible for assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records. The Pharmacy Tech works under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

6. WORKING CONDITIONS
OSHA Job Classification	Category II	Physical Demands	Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities and problem-solve. Repetitive use of hands and fingers. Sitting, walking or standing for long periods of time is often necessary (4-8 hrs). Must be able to physically operate equipment used for the job.
