Job Description

Overview

This position is within the Product Management division, which is accountable for the success of our software solutions by working cross-functionally with teams that develop, market, sell and support them.

The Opportunity

ConstructConnect is seeking a curious, driven Product Management Intern to join our Product Management team. In this role, you'll get hands-on exposure to how we build customer-facing software products — from discovery and research all the way through execution and launch support. You'll work alongside experienced Product Managers and cross-functional partners to learn how we use data, customer feedback, and agile practices to make smart product decisions.

If you're interested in a career at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer experience, this is an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills and see how great products get made.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

Data Validation & Ground Truth Development

  • Review and label specification document pages to build high-quality training and evaluation datasets for machine learning models
  • Assess model outputs against source documents to identify errors, gaps, and edge cases
  • Help develop and apply annotation guidelines that drive consistency across the dataset
  • Organize and maintain structured records of reviewed documents, findings, and quality metrics
  • Contribute to evaluating model performance improvements over time as training iterations progress

Research & Analysis

  • Assist with analysis of extraction results to surface patterns and inform model improvement priorities
  • Help research manufacturer naming conventions, industry terminology, and document formats to support annotation accuracy
  • Participate in research and benchmarking activities that inform how we measure success

Product & Data Science Exposure

  • Work alongside product managers and get exposure to how product decisions get made in a software company
  • Work alongside data scientists and get exposure to how machine learning models are built, evaluated, and improved in a real product context
  • Participate in team meetings and learn how technical work connects to customer and business outcomes
  • This job description in no way implies that the duties listed here are the only ones that team members can be required to perform

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
  • High attention to detail and comfort doing careful, methodical review work
  • Strong analytical thinking -- you notice patterns and ask good questions about what you're seeing
  • Excellent written communication skills -- you can document findings clearly and consistently
  • Curiosity about how AI and machine learning products are built and improved
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where the work is sometimes ambiguous
  • Proficiency with common business tools (Microsoft Office / Teams, Excel)
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, and working on a computer for extended periods. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
  • Team members are expected to maintain a dedicated and ergonomically appropriate remote workspace.
  • Team members who live within commuting distance of our office location (Metro Atlanta, Georgia) are expected to work in a hybrid capacity, with regular in-office presence every Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
  • All team members must reside and perform their work within the United States.
