Are you an experienced veterinary receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment? Brookhaven Animal Hospital, located in the Brookhaven neighborhood of Atlanta, GA, is looking for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team.

Key Responsibilities

As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient front desk experience:
  • Greet clients and pets warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and handle client communications
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures, process invoices, and take payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update client information in practice software
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to support smooth patient flow
  • Provide client education on hospital services, wellness plans, and general pet care
  • Resolve client concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Support rotating weekend shifts (we are closed on all major/federal holidays and offer holiday pay)


✅ What We’re Looking For – Experience & Qualifications

We’re seeking a candidate who is passionate about animals, thrives in a people-facing role, and has experience in a veterinary or healthcare front desk setting.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a veterinary front desk/customer service role
  • Experience in a veterinary practice or medical office is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency with veterinary practice software (Cornerstone, Avimark, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Must have schedule flexibility, including weekends on rotation
