Role Overview

The Epicor Solutions Analyst is responsible for bridging business operations and ERP technology by designing, configuring, and supporting Epicor ERP (Kinetic) solutions. This role works closely with business stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering to optimize processes, drive system adoption, and enable scalable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis & Functional Design

· Analyze business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance to identify gaps and optimization opportunities.

· Translate business requirements into Epicor system configurations, workflows, and enhancements.

· Lead workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders to define requirements and solution approaches.

· Develop functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

2. Epicor Configuration & Solution Delivery

· Configure Epicor modules (e.g., Manufacturing, MRP, Finance, Inventory, Order Management).

· Support BOM structures, routings, work centers, and production workflows aligned to shop-floor operations.

· Design and implement system solutions to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.

· Manage system configurations, security roles, and business rules.

3. Technical Development & Integration

· Develop and support delivering business impact using Epicor by using:

o BPM (Business Process Management)

o BAQs (Business Activity Queries)

o Dashboards / SSRS reports / Power BI

o C#, REST APIs, and integrations

· Collaborate with developers and architects on integrations between ERP, MES, PLM, and other enterprise systems.

4. Testing, Deployment & Support

· Lead system testing activities including UAT planning, execution, and validation.

· Support ERP implementations, upgrades (e.g., Epicor Kinetic), and patches.

· Provide production support and troubleshoot complex system issues.

· Ensure smooth post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement.

5. Data, Reporting & Governance

· Support data migration, validation, and master data governance (items, BOMs, routings, etc.).

· Build operational dashboards and reports for business decision-making.

· Ensure data consistency between engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing systems.

6. Training & Documentation

· Develop SOPs, work instructions, and system documentation.

· Train end users on Epicor processes and best practices.

· Drive adoption and continuous improvement across teams.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Partner with various business and technical teams for solutions delivery

· Support Agile delivery and prioritize enhancements aligned with business goals.

Required Qualifications

· 5+ years of Epicor ERP experience (Kinetic preferred)

· Strong techno-functional expertise (business + technical configuration)

· Experience in manufacturing environments (MRP, BOMs, production planning)

· Hands-on experience with:

· BPM, BAQs, dashboards

· SQL / T-SQL

· Reporting tools (Power BI / SSRS)

· Experience with ERP implementations and upgrades

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience integrating Epicor with MES (e.g., Ignition), PLM (e.g., Teamcenter), or other enterprise systems

· Knowledge of data governance and master data management

· Experience working in Agile environments

· Exposure to automation tools and modern data platforms
