Job Description
ISS International S.p.A. is currently looking for a Subsea Pipeline Engineer to join an important Oil & Gas development project based in Milan.
The selected professional will be responsible for the engineering design, verification, installation planning, and operational assurance of subsea pipelines.
The role includes review of engineering deliverables, technical specifications, line design criteria, interface coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Main Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
At least 12 years of experience in Pipeline Engineering after graduation
Proven experience in Oil & Gas pipeline projects including offshore and subsea developments
Good knowledge of subsea pipeline and flowline design, line sizing philosophy, routing, tie-ins, and installation interfaces
Familiarity with applicable international codes and standards for pipeline engineering
Experience in review of pipeline deliverables, datasheets, calculations, material specifications, and vendor / contractor technical documentation
Ability to interface with process, mechanical, materials, subsea, construction, and installation teams
Strong knowledge of subsea pipeline design and DNV/ISO standards.
Understanding of shallow-water installation challenges.
Ability to review FE modeling (OrcaFlex, PipeLay, Caesar II).
Good command of English
