Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting resident rooms, common areas, and facility surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is well-maintained
- Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed to support overall facility operations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and a respectful, caring attitude
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required
