Description
Our Broker Engagement Specialist is a key team member responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with brokers and agencies across assigned markets. This role plays a critical part in driving membership growth, market expansion, and overall business success by leading broker-focused engagement initiatives and representing Astrana Health within the broker community.

What You'll Do
• Evaluate broker partnerships and prioritize engagement strategies based on performance, growth potential, and business impact.
• Develop and execute targeted broker engagement and outreach plans aligned with market goals.
• Plan, coordinate, and represent Astrana Health at broker meetings, trainings, conferences, networking events, and sponsored engagements.
• Determine event participation, sponsorship opportunities, and engagement approaches based on expected return and market influence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for broker communications, relationship management, and issue resolution.
• Assess broker needs and independently resolve issues, including escalation and coordination with internal teams when necessary.
• Collaborate cross-functionally while maintaining ownership of broker engagement strategy and execution.
• Track engagement outcomes, analyze trends, and adjust strategies to improve broker performance and relationship effectiveness.
Qualifications
• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare engagement, customer service, or broker/partner relations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Working knowledge of healthcare systems and insurance (Medicare/Medicaid a plus).
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in administrative systems (CRM/EHR) and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and think strategically.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and improving outcomes in underserved communities.

• The national target pay range for this role is $48,000 - $68,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
