Pay Range: State Teacher Salary + [10.5% - 18% local supplement]
Position Purpose: Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' physical skills and abilities, strength, agility, poise, coordination, and teamwork; to develop students' understanding of the importance of exercise to physical and mental well-being; and to motivate students to work towards, physical fitness, hygiene, and good health. Click to view the Teacher job description. Counselor: to provide services focusing on the developmental, preventive, and remedial needs of school populations. These services include counseling, consulting, and coordinating activities for educational, personal, social, and career development.
Minimum Degree Level: Master's Degree (click here for more info about Master's pay) Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
- 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
- Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
- Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
