Gifted - Certified Teacher
The Kirkwood School District is hiring a Gifted - Certified Teacher for the 26/27 school year to support Tillman Elementary School.
 
We would like the Gifted Teacher to have the following skills:

• Comfort with student agency
• Skill in asking open-ended, high-level questions
• High-level understanding around the social-emotional and executive function needs of gifted individuals
• Commitment to equity and talent development
• Deep appreciation for creativity, play, and divergent thinking
• Experience and/or skills with coaching classroom teachers to support gifted students
• Organizational and time management skills
• Skills with communication and collaboration

 
This is a full-time certified teaching position, with benefits, including:

Salary is based on the Certified Salary Schedule, dependent on relevant education & experience.
 
*If you are currently under contract in another district for the upcoming school year, an official letter of release from your current district will be required upon job offer.*
