At Syngenta, our purpose is to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture, delivering high-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmer success. To support this mission, the Employer Branding team at Syngenta is looking for a Social Media Intern (12-month internship) in Montevideo, Uruguay. This role will support the delivery of creative and strategic content to strengthen Syngenta's employer brand on Instagram and LinkedIn, bringing our people's stories and culture to attract and engage future talent, by:

This position reports to the Regional Hub Lead (based in Montevideo), with dotted line reporting to the Associate Employer Branding Specialist (based in Hungary).

Accountabilities 

  • Supporting the planning and execution of the employer brand social content calendar in partnership with the Employer Brand Specialist, collaborating with employees and stakeholders from different parts of the world.
  • Editing short-form and long-form videos for Instagram and LinkedIn (Reels, Stories, short edits, and captions).
  • Developing creative briefs and shot lists for internal creators and brand ambassadors.
  • Sourcing and pitching story ideas aligned to our employer brand narrative, while organizing content assets, managing requests, and maintaining libraries of footage and finished posts.

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field, with active student status required throughout the entire 12 months of the internship.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (required).
  • Strong understanding of content creation and video editing for social media (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools), with basic knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; outgoing and confident interacting with people across different seniority levels and backgrounds.
  • Creative, proactive, curious and adaptable, with strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn, flexibility, and genuine interest in Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition, with the ability to collaborate with multicultural teams across different time zones.
  • Working hours: morning shift, 9:00–13:00.
