
Spanish Interpreter/Translator
Job Description
We are currently accepting applications for a Spanish Interpreter/Translator. Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
This position is for the 2026-2027 school year with an anticipated date of August 17, 2026. If interested please complete and submit an application.
This position will support multiple locations throughout the district, as needed - finalized location(s) to be discussed during job offer process.
Requirements:
- An Associate's Degree, or 60 college credit hours, or successful completion of the Praxis Paraprofessional Assessment.
- Must be bilingual and biliterate (in English and Spanish).
- Have ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
- Be able to read and write. Have the ability to understand, and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
- Demonstrate an interest in youth and their educational welfare.
- Ability and desire to assist the teacher in providing an educational opportunity for the handicapped child to attain his/her maximum potential.
- Experience in working with children in a group setting.
- Ability to work well with learning community, parents teachers, students, administrators and staff with courtesy, tact, and good judgment along with having good customer service skills.
- Be of good character, neat in personal appearance, dependable, reliable, prompt, and flexible and have pleasing manners and personality.
- Ability to cooperate with teachers and willingness to take directions from teaching staff.
All persons recommended for employment must pass an extensive background check through the Division of Family Services, the Missouri Highway Patrol, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
