Are you an experienced, compassionate Care Professional looking for a rewarding live-in care role where you can genuinely make a difference?
We are seeking two dedicated Live-In Care Professionals to support a lovely female client living with Alzheimer’s in her own home. This role is based on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, offering consistency for both the client and carers.
The client has good mobility and enjoys staying active and social. She loves long walks, weekly swimming sessions, trips to the shops, and visiting her local pub. She experiences short-term memory loss, confusion, low confidence, and occasional anxiety, so we are looking for someone calm, patient, reassuring, and engaging.
About the Role
As a Live-In Care Professional, you will provide companionship and day-to-day support, including:
- Providing reassurance, companionship and emotional support
- Supporting with routines and maintaining independence
- Helping with meal preparation and household tasks
- Accompanying the client on walks, swimming trips, shopping, and social outings
- Medication prompting and general wellbeing support
- Encouraging confidence and meaningful daily activities
This role is focused on building trust, companionship, and helping the client continue enjoying the activities she loves.
What We Offer
- Competitive live-in pay
- Paid holidays
- Ongoing support from a friendly office team
- Regular scheduled rotation (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
- A rewarding role with meaningful one-to-one care
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in care, live-in care, dementia care or support work
- A calm, patient and compassionate approach
- Confidence supporting someone living with Alzheimer’s
- Full UK driving licence with access to a car
- Clean driving licence preferred
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Right to work in the UK
This is a wonderful opportunity to support someone in living safely, happily, and independently at home while building a genuine relationship and making a real difference every day.
