Duties Responsibilities Communications, Marketing Strategy Campaign Execution • Provide strategic leadership for the school’s integrated communications and marketing efforts, aligning initiatives with school, college, and university priorities. • Develop and execute annual and long-range communications and marketing plans, including goal setting, audience targeting, and measurable outcomes. • Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of multi-channel campaigns (web, email, social, and digital platforms), ensuring alignment across audiences and initiatives. • Oversee and actively manage the school’s digital channels, including website, email communications, and social media, with responsibility for content strategy, performance optimization, and growth. • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop regular reports and dashboards to assess effectiveness, inform decision-making, and demonstrate impact. • Utilize data analytics and audience insights to refine messaging, improve engagement, and guide strategic direction. • Monitor market trends and higher education communications/marketing practices, translating insights into actionable strategies for the school. • Serve as a senior writer, editor, and content strategist for complex or high-visibility communications, while reviewing and approving content developed by staff. • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with institutional messaging and brand standards across all platforms. • Serve as primary liaison to the college marketing and communications team and coordinate with campus partners and external collaborators. Leadership, Project Management Operational Oversight • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for communications and events staff, including onboarding, training, workload management, and evaluations. • Operate within and manage project management systems and workflows to ensure accountability for timelines, deliverables, and priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives. • Oversee planning and execution of school-hosted events through staff, ensuring alignment with communications and engagement strategies. • Review and approve event-related communications, materials, and attendee experience to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with school goals. • Coordinate and prioritize team activities to support strategic initiatives while maintaining day-to-day operational effectiveness. • Serve as a resource and escalation point for team and stakeholder needs. School Communications Operations Channel Ownership • Oversee and manage day-to-day communications operations, including: ◦ Website updates, enhancements, and analytics ◦ Social media management and performance tracking ◦ Email communications and stakeholder coordination ◦ Development of news content, media mentions, and School-specific storytelling • Ensure all channels are actively maintained, strategically aligned, and continuously improved. Other • Assume additional responsibilities to further the mission and strategic goals of the school. • Participate in occasional evening/weekend events and limited travel as needed.
