Identify environmental and sectoral permits necessary in each phase of the project, define work plans, technical, environmental and social scopes required.
Coordinates the execution of environmental and social baselines.
Contribute to the definition of the permit management strategy for the Project, identifying and analyzing the risks associated with the delay or denial of permits, with subsequent development of mitigation plans.
Supervise the work of external consultants in the preparation of environmental permits and sectoral permit files.
Manage Permissions External Consultant Contract
Coordinate with specialists in engineering, technical, social, environmental services, and other areas, to collect technical information and ensure compliance with deadlines and quality of the supporting documents of environmental permits and sectoral permits.
Review permit files, technical and legal notes, ensuring consistency and quality of the documentation to be submitted to the authorities.
Lead the presentation of permits to competent bodies, coordinating meetings and inspection visits.
Manage the timely processing of permits and follow-up of files until permits are obtained from government entities.
Act as a technical liaison between engineering teams, external consultants and authorities.
Develop strategies to optimize the approval of environmental and sectoral permits.
Provide technical support for the definition of strategies and action plans to respond to the authority's observations or manage addenda, minimizing the risk of rejection or rectification.
Act as a technical counterpart before environmental authorities and external consultants.
Lead the planning and integration of permits into the overall project schedule.
Review permits approved, in progress or to be presented, by Third Parties, with whom the Project will have commercial ties, to validate their consistency and alignment with the Project schedule, as well as to safeguard the interests of the project and minimize risks from the point of view of required approvals.
Advise internal teams on environmental aspects, ensuring the incorporation of environmental criteria in the design of the Project, which minimize environmental risks and simplify permitting procedures.
Collaborate in responses to observations raised during inspections or visits by authorities, reducing incidents and ensuring the progress of permits.
Prepare periodic reports (weekly, biweekly, monthly) on the status of permits for Project and Corporate Management.
Maintain updated information in project management systems and tools (schedules, logs, shared folders, dashboards and indicators)
