Special Education Teacher (Anticipated)

Requirements:

NH certification, special education teacher.

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Possess an understanding of the New Hampshire special education process.

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary student centered team.

Coordinate, write, and implement IEP's.

Facilitate parent meetings.

Develop behavior plans, schedules and lesson plans.

Supervise instructional assistants.

Implement positive behavior plans.

Assist classroom teachers in implementation of supports for integration of students, specifically in the lower elementary grades

Demonstrate a variety of computer literacy skills.
