Junior Buyer – Sheridan (Homewares & Textiles)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Buyer to join Sheridan’s Merchandise team. In this role, you’ll support the development of aspirational and commercially successful product ranges, helping deliver beautiful, high quality products that reflect the Sheridan brand.
You’ll provide assistance in taking ownership of product categories, analysing performance, and work collaboratively across design, planning, and supply chain to drive sales and margin outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the Merchandise Manager in delivering seasonal range plans and product assortments
- Under guidance from the Merchandise Manager develop seasonal range and by plans for selected categories
- Assist with maintaining product data, including range plans, pricing, codes, and order forms
- Prepare sales reports and analyse performance to identify trends and opportunities
- Conduct competitor and market research to support category decisions
- Help coordinate product development timelines and key business milestones
- Assist with buy meetings, presentations, and seasonal reviews
- Contribute to identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency
What You Bring
- Previous experience in a junior buying, or merchandise role
- Strong commercial acumen and passion for product
- Proficiency with Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced retail environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
