Your future role on our team You'll be part of our team working on mining and metal projects across Canada and will play a key role in all phases of engineering projects, ensuring exceptional technical quality of deliverables. Lead and participate in project design studies Lead and participate in preparing plans and specifications and perform detailed engineering based on guidelines for mandates involving heavy machinery, conveyors, pump systems, crushers and metallurgical processes Supervise or carry out design calculations and ensure that plans meet guidelines as well as legal and regulatory requirements Establish and maintain relationships with clients to define their needs Present technical information, concepts or study results Verify and produce files for tenders, specifications and other technical documents Assign and review the work of junior engineers (engineers-in-training), technicians and drafters assigned to projects and assess technical scope Ensure that work complies with budgets, schedules, estimates and established procedures Assist more experienced personnel with the technical aspects of complex tasks Perform technical information statements Occasionally supervise contractors on site Be a key team member in delivering small to major modernization projects or new installations
