Key Responsibilities for IT System Administration

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of availability.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to protect data and infrastructure.
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security of IT systems.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, troubleshooting system and network problems, and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Implement and maintain policies for upgrading system components, as necessary.

Essential Skills and Qualifications for the IT System Administration Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a system administrator role (experience in the iGaming industry is an advantage).
• Solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; the principles of routing, client/server programming, the design of consistent network-wide file system layouts.
• Expertise in configuring, updating, and securing Linux and Windows server environments.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms and the ability to upgrade IT infrastructures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform complex installs and upgrades.
• Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
