Job Description

Birmingham City Councils Careline service offers a technology enabled care service to circa 9k citizens living in their own homes across the city. We are looking for creative, flexible, and resilient individuals to join our dynamic frontline service. This role involves managing a team of 17 and a rolling 12hr40min shift patterns to include nights, weekends and bank holidays. While experience in a technology enabled care service, or working with older and vulnerable people would be beneficial, it is not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a frontline intervention and prevention service of a 24/7 Assistive Technology Enabled Care service. Answering and responding to mobile or technology alarm equipment from citizens living in their own home and requiring emergency assistance. • Prevent further incidents through appropriate referral, signposting, and advice.
