Title: Pre-K Teacher (26-27 School Year)

QUALIFICATIONS:
 

1. Eligible for appropriate Maine Department of Education certification. (081)

2. Bachelor of Arts (Early Childhood Education)

REPORTS TO: Building Leader

Brief Job Duties:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  1. Developing and administering school elementary curriculum
  2. Conducting ongoing assessments of student learning and modifying instructional methods to fit individual student needs, including students with special needs
  3. Encouraging parental involvement in students' education.

Certification/License:
Maine Department of Education Certification - Elementary Teacher
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education 

Education: 
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education or related discipline
