Laboratory engineer junior

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Ensure the new product design process including preparation of the production recipe in the IFS system. Formulate, modify and develop recipes according to market requirements and Jotun quality guidelines in order to produce cost-effective products and ensure customer satisfaction with product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Formulating products based on Requests To Laboratory
• Creates Control Plans for QC
• Update and change formulations as required by Group R&D
• Optimise recipes to maintain competitiveness in the local market within the framework set by regional and global R&D
• Give technical support to sales team
• Support local laboratory assistants in their tasks
• Third party testing and certifying
• Provide compliance documents in accordance with various standards and directives like IOS MAT, REACH, ROHS, food contact, etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

Czech language essential.

• University education in Chemistry or a Technical field

  Advanced English language proficiency (both spoken and written)

  Strong communication skills

  Flexibility, creativity, and innovative thinking

  Systematic approach and analytical mindset

  Attention to quality and detail

  Prior experience is an advantage
