Tractor Trailer Op
 Checks tractor daily. Keeps correct amount of fuel in the tanks; checks and adds oil to the crank case as needs; checks radiator for fullness of anti-freeze; checks the battery for the need of water; checks tires for proper air pressure; checks the hydraulic fifth wheel for proper amount of oil. Reports any minor or major repair needed in order to keep the truck in good operating condition at all time
 Makes list of all trailers spotted at dock doors-compares to trailer door listing. Informs Supervisor of any discrepancy
 After a trailer is loaded, move trailer from dock, close trailer doors, apply seal, and move to trailer pool. Move a predetermined empty trailer back to the dock door. Give trailer card to OS&D Clerk to update system.
 Use yard tractor with trailer to take Parcel Post shipments to the Post Office. Assists in the loading and off-loading the baskets (approximate weight 1,300 lbs)
 May be required to go to outside warehouse to take empty trailer or to bring back a full one
 May be required to perform the functions of a Line Dispatcher ( see Job Functions- Line Dispatcher)
 May be required to perform the functions of a Material Handler (see Job Functions- Material Handler)
 Works under the direction of the Supervisor
 Changes may occur in the hours and essential functions of these instructions due to availability of personnel
