Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Employee Benefits

As a Customer Service Representative on our Employee Benefits team, you will serve as a trusted resource for clients and their employees, helping them navigate benefits programs with confidence and ease. This role blends relationship-building, technical aptitude, and analytical thinking to deliver best-in-class support.


What You’ll Do

As part of our Employee Benefits team, you’ll play a key role in creating a seamless, positive experience for our clients:

  • Jump in to support clients and employees with benefits questions, enrollments, eligibility updates, and service requests
  • Keep things moving by processing requests efficiently and following established workflows
  • Assist with renewals, open enrollment, and ongoing account updates
  • Keep client and employee data accurate and up to date across Applied Epic and benefits administration platforms
  • Help set up and maintain accounts across systems and vendor portals
  • Pull and review data from carrier platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Use Excel to analyze reports, identify discrepancies, and solve problems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and partner with teammates and vendors to find solutions
  • Support Account Managers and Account Executives with client communications and deliverables
  • Help prepare reports, employee communications, and enrollment materials
  • Look for ways to improve processes and make things work even better

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s curious, detail-oriented, and enjoys both people and problem-solving:

  • Strong customer service skills. You genuinely enjoy helping others
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including experience with data, formulas, reporting, and reconciliation
  • A natural comfort with technology and learning new systems
  • An analytical mindset. You like figuring things out and catching details others might miss
  • Experience with benefits administration platforms or HCM systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, or Employee Navigator is a plus
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • High School Diploma required. Additional education or relevant experience preferred
