About the Team & Business Line: 

Platforms Transformation Group is multi-skilled team charged with identifying, building and deploying operational solutions leveraging a suite of emerging technologies, such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Robotics Process Automation, Business Process Management, Reconciliation Tools, APIs and Automation. 

Your Role:

The Platform Transformation Vice President for CitcoRecs is a key member of the team and plays an integral role in designing and delivering automated processes within the reconciliation tools for Citco. Working within The Platform Transformation Group, you will be a part of a specialized team within the Transformation Office, who perform analytics, identify efficiencies and mitigate risk that maintain Citco’s competitive advantages in the industry across their core applications. CitcoRecs is Citco’s strategic reconciliation utility which produces streamlined reconciliations, to deliver high-quality financial data to managers in the most efficient manner. 
The Vice President will work with the colleagues across the Transformation Office and business unit representatives to optimize and digitize operational processes to deliver bottom-line results for Citco.

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects from inception to completion
  • Oversee project lifecycle including scoping, analysis, development, and implementation
  • Manage stakeholder communications and expectations
  • Lead Scrums and Working Group meetings
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones
     

Team Management

  • Build and manage high-performing development team
  • Resource planning and allocation
  • Staff coaching and career development
  • Budget management and oversight


Technical Oversight

  • Review and approve solution designs and documentation
  • Establish industry standards/best practices with vendors
  • Oversee business requirements and user stories
  • Support weekend releases, as required

 

Process & Strategy

  • Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives
  • Conduct risk analysis and reporting
  • Maintain project reporting for senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new initiatives

 

This role combines project management, team leadership, and technical oversight responsibilities, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on involvement in software delivery. 

About You:

Seasoned financial services professional with 8+ years of comprehensive experience, demonstrating expertise in reconciliation processes and strategic project management, specializing in process optimization and team leadership.
 

Core Qualifications

  • Financial reconciliation expert with comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments
  • Effective project leadership and stakeholder management
  • Strategic mindset with ability to drive process optimization and innovative solutions 
  • Successful team development and mentorship
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline
     

Technical Expertise

  • Cross-functional team leadership
  • Process automation and efficiency optimization
  • Technical documentation, code review and implementation expertise
  • Project tools: JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheets
  • Systems: Microsoft Office, SmartStream TLM Recs Premium, BluePrism, SAP HANA, AWS
  • Assets: Business Process Management, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation
