Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Hours: Monday-Friday 1400-2300; hours varied
Essential Functions:
- Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift
- Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities
- Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday
- Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment
- Performs routine testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, and blood bank.
- Process specimens.
- Follow employer and hospital policies.
- Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Main responsibility will be duties in the clinical laboratory.
- Additional duties will include assisting supervisor/manager with special projects/assignments.
Required Knowledge:
- Good understanding of laboratory procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems, to identify cause and synthesize
- alternatives.
- Clear and effective communication
- Ability to react positively with coworkers.
- Ability to use independent judgement to solve problems.
- Able to manage time, prioritize, and delegate.
- Good computer skills a plus.
- Knowledge in Epic and Media Lab is a plus.
Required Experience: AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology. ASCP MT/MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MT/MLT certification.

- This full-time position works 8 hour day shifts – Monday through Friday - with occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Dayshift technical staff is also expected to supervisor an instrument or department and help monitor inventory for their designated area.
