Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
- Answer phones and respond to member inquiries in a timely and helpful manner
- Manage court bookings, lesson scheduling, and program registrations using an online reservation system
- Provide accurate information about lessons, clinics, events, and social play opportunities
- Anticipate the needs of racquet sports professionals and assist with smooth transitions between lessons and activities
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the front desk and surrounding areas
- Support daily operations, including check-ins, payments, and basic administrative tasks
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages member engagement and participation
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help others
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn reservation/booking systems
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to assisting staff and members
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred (but not required)
Preferred Traits:
- Positive attitude and upbeat energy
- Comfortable engaging with a wide range of members and guests
- Interest in tennis, pickleball, or padel is a plus
- Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative without constant direction
