Superintendent Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a Superintendent Electrician to join our Technical Department.
He will be responsible for supporting the fleet’s electrical and automation systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient vessel operations. The role includes remote troubleshooting, maintenance planning, technical follow-up, dry-dock and retrofit support, and coordination with vessels, internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support the reliability of fleet electrical and automation systems.
Provide remote troubleshooting support to vessels in cooperation with Masters, Chief Engineers, and onboard teams.
Plan, review, and approve electrical and automation-related maintenance activities.
Support drydock, retrofit, and upgrade projects related to electrical, automation, and power-management systems.
Ensure compliance with classification society and flag-state requirements.
Manage and update the planned maintenance system and computerized maintenance management system for relevant equipment.
Optimize critical spare parts planning and follow-up.
Coordinate with vendors, makers, and service providers for technical support and repairs.
Investigate recurring technical issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Contribute to improved vessel uptime, operational reliability, and energy efficiency.
