Primary Function/General Purpose of Position:
The Gift Shop coordinator is responsible for daily operations. Maintenance of St. Mary's Gift Shop inventories in a web based register system. Provide excellent customer service to hospital guests and staff.
Employment Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of retail experience required.
2. Assured, self-motivated
3. Well-organized
4. Detail oriented in use of numbers as well as data base
5. Must be able to multi-task
6. Knowledge in use of excel
Essential Job Functions:
Functions of this job may include but are not limited to the following:
1. Perform opening and closing procedures, including drawer count out and reconciliation of daily transactions to the register close out report.
2. Maintain a clean and organized gift shop and stock room.
3. Enter and maintain all inventories in Lightspeed.
4. Merchandising of sales floor.
5. Review and submit invoices for payment.
6. Inputting revenue and expenses into quick-books.
Other Job Functions
1. Place orders for merchandise such as candy, balloons, plush etc.
Working Conditions
Work environment is similar to a normal retail store environment, with little or no
exposure to excessive noise, dust or other conditions.

4. Microsoft office software
