We are looking for Operations & Customer Account Manager to manage South / South East DHL Waste Managment activity with our multiple sites

Role Purpose:

  • The purpose of the role is to manage the successful delivery of waste & recycling services to EnviroSolutions customers.
  • Responsible for multiple accounts the role holder will build and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders within the customer business to ensure satisfaction levels are high.
  • Having P&L ownership of the account they will identify and deliver against a continuous improvement plan to maximise value for both the customer and DHL.
  • The role holder will also identify and develop organic growth opportunities and play a lead role in renewal strategies.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and leverage constructive relationships with key account contacts
  • Continuously review business potential for area of responsibility and identify improvement and business opportunities
  • Develop, commercialise and deliver innovative solutions - identifing and converting potential organic growth opportunities
  • Conduct or support research meetings with customers to understand their business requirements and objectives
  • Collaborate with internal functions that support the customer satisfaction and growth processes (Solution Design, Operations, HR, IT, Real Estate, Legal/ Finance etc), to gather information and coordinate actions to support bid submissions
  • Work closely with the customer operations team (ensure quality, improve performance) and deliver positive renewal strategies and results
  • Participate in best practice sharing between within Supply Chain Services community
  • Map and assess stakeholders within assigned target accounts - building relationships at multi level
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and Contribute to the Continuous Improvement agenda
  • Collect customer feedback and participate in internal and customer reviews
  • Support project implementation and budget management processes as appropriate
  • Support completion of Business Cases, indicative costings and customer contracting, as appropriate
  • Ownership of account P&Ls for identified waste accounts

Requirements:

  • Experience of the Waste and recycling sector - essential
  • Experience of working within waste operations and managing customer contracts - essential
  • Reverse logistics/supply chain management experience - desirable
  • Proven experence in waste segregation
  • 3 years + account management experience - essential
  • Customer relationship management exposure - essential
  • Strong Problem solving skills - essential
  • Excellent networking and relationship building capability - essential
  • Experence in Virgin matreial reduction and reduction in Carbon foot print
  • Presentation Skills - essential
  • Happy to be traveling to sites 2-3 times a week (South East Region)
