About the Position:

We are looking for a GT Toluca MFE Welding to join the Engineering + GT team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Toluca.
 

As the GT Toluca MFE Weldeing at Marelli, you will be responsible To develop, improve, and maintain welding processes and equipment to ensure safety, quality, and productivity within manufacturing operations.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Design, implement, and optimize welding processes and procedures
• Troubleshoot welding operations and recommend corrective actions
• Support new product introductions from a welding perspective
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, quality)
• Provide technical training and guidance to shop floor personnel
• Monitor and analyze welding performance metrics
• Develop and maintain documentation for welding operations

What Qualifications you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Welding Engineering (or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience in welding processes (MIG, TIG, Spot, etc.)
• Knowledge of welding codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME)

Other skills that we would welcome:

• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and quality tools
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Certification in welding engineering or inspection (preferred)
