In this role as a Packaging Technician, you will join a collaborative team responsible for the final packaging of clinical pharmaceutical products, ensuring production schedules are met while upholding the highest cGMP and safety standards. You will apply technical expertise across multiple GMP systems to deliver high-quality healthcare solutions in a world-class production environment. This position offers the opportunity to maintain a safe, clean work environment while supporting quality and efficiency improvements.
The Opportunity
Perform printing, labeling, and final packaging activities using automated systems with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Complete appropriate process-related documentation, including batch records and equipment logs, per cGMP standards.
Operate and troubleshoot equipment and GMP systems safely to effectively manage production needs.
Execute the receiving and delivery of products and materials according to established procedures.
Review batch records, forms, and applicable documents in a timely manner to ensure compliance.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of labeling and packaging components, such as inserts and container closures.
Support department projects and training initiatives, including investigating solutions and documenting processes.
Manage all process-related issues with applicable groups and initiate discrepancies when necessary.
Who you are
You hold a minimum of a High School diploma with 3-6 years of related production experience, or a BS/BA degree with 1 year of technical experience.
You have full knowledge of the job and a general understanding of related functions and cGMP standards.
You are a skilled specialist able to work independently within defined parameters and make decisions within established policies.
You demonstrate a teamwork attitude and are able to communicate data of moderate importance to other areas of the organization.
You are physically capable of standing for extended periods and can lift 40 lbs and push/pull >75 lbs of force.
Preferred
Experience acting as a Super User or Subject Matter Expert in labeling and packaging activities.
Flexibility to work overtime and adjust working schedules beyond the normal work week.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco is 48 900,00 - 76 800,00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
