Sales Agronomist/Custom Applicator

What you’ll be doing:

This position performs an exciting variety of duties including product recommendation & sales, soil testing, deliveries, and agriculture chemical/fertilizer application. Employees in this role have the opportunity to operate variety of agriculture equipment. On occasion, this position may help out in the warehouse and/or ag equipment shops to maintenance equipment and facilities.

We’re looking for:

• Related agricultural experience
• A driving record that is acceptable for commercial liability insurance
• Commercial Chemical Applicator’s License or willingness to obtain
• Valid CDL or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions with extended work hours in peak season
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required

 

 

Extra awesome if you have:

• Agricultural background with related experience operating agricultural equipment

• Associate degree or technical certificate in agriculture related field of study desired
• Tanker Endorsement
• Hazmat Endorsement
• 1-2 years of related chemical application desired

• 1-2 years of equipment mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience
• Crop advisor certification
