Job Description


As an Outside Sales and Counter Sales Representative, you will call on a group of assigned accounts that include Wholesale and non-wholesale customers and will assist with promoting and advancing company marketing/sales programs. In addition, you will assist with internal store operations such as customer service, parts delivery and freight processing.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Call on customers per the schedule/strategy created by store leader and ensure retail and wholesale customers make Auto Value the first call for parts
  • Assist with store counter sales, parts delivery and freight processing as part of a regular schedule
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of current sales and sales targets
  • Conduct sales transactions with adherence to store/company policies and procedures
  • Complete all related reports accurately and on time
  • Participate in training programs, learning about our products, our programs and our customers
  • Represent Auto Value in a professional and positive manner

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma/GED with a minimum of two years of related experience and with a thorough knowledge of the auto parts industry and sales approaches
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function in a demanding environment, under substantial time pressure 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of desktop computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
