The Opportunity

The role of Commercial Excellence Manager - EAC, within Abbott EPD, focuses on strengthening sales force effectiveness and driving commercial execution across affiliates or clusters. This role partners closely with local leadership to improve productivity, profitability and performance through best‑in‑class commercial excellence practices.

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead and manage Commercial Excellence sub‑functions across assigned affiliates or clusters.
  • Define and implement Commercial Excellence strategy, including go‑to‑market models, sales force design, segmentation & targeting, and territory deployment.
  • Drive Sales Force Effectiveness initiatives, including CRM, CLM, multi‑channel engagement, KPIs and performance dashboards.
  • Lead sales force execution and performance management processes, challenging and supporting affiliates to improve efficiency and results.
  • Support implementation of regional and affiliate Commercial Excellence initiatives with strong follow‑up and governance.
  • Foster collaboration and best‑practice sharing across affiliates and with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Manage and develop direct reports, including SFE, CRM, BI and multi‑channel engagement roles, while working closely with broader country sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (healthcare, nutrition, life sciences or related); MBA or postgraduate business qualification is a strong advantage.
  • 3–5 years’ experience within a local affiliate, with exposure to Sales, KAM, Sales Leadership and/or Commercial Excellence or Training functions.
  • Strong project management capability and experience working across multiple stakeholders and markets.
  • Solid understanding of sales force effectiveness, analytics and performance management.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
