To assist and support project management staff and CHV management staff through: (1) assembling presentation of project design materials; (2) attendance in construction meeting and organizing/summarizing related documentation related as needed; (3) participate in organizational tasks such as assisting team with research and assembling summaries and presentation; and, (3) miscellaneous tasks to support project team with lease-up and transition to operations
What Does a/the Intern Do:
• Assist project management staff in the review and attendance of weekly construction meetings, development budgets, design materials, submittals, meeting minutes, photo documentation, schedules and assembling/organizing other project documentation as needed.
• Assist project management and operations staff in miscellaneous tasks needed for project lease-up and operations commencement.
• Assist project management staff in assembling summaries of project design materials for team review and display.
• Assist in assembling marketing and informational materials for specific housing development projects with Creative Director.
• Prepare/assist, review and submit reports and demographic and statistical information for senior management and project use.
• Assist in RFP research and submission.
• Attend virtual or in-person trainings or industry info sessions and share summaries with team
What are the Qualifications for the Position:
Education, Licenses and/or Certifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or in graduate/professional program preferred.
Minimum Experiences and Skills Required:
- Familiarity and interest in with New York City and New York State affordable housing programs preferred.
