Responsibilities

We are actively seeking a dynamic Technical Manager for Integrations with a strong background in hands-on development and a deep understanding of Agile Software Development within enterprise integrations with Api Lead architecture, ETL/data pipelines, and AI‑enabled solutions. This role will balance technical leadership, delivery execution, and people management while influencing integration, data, and AI strategy. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving projects to success, especially in a highvolume, seasonal retail environment while remaining positive, pragmatic, and forwardthinking.

  • Manage the complete systems development lifecycle (including requirements definition, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance phases) for integration, ETL, and related application modules; proactively identify and mitigate project and operational risks
  • Oversee the analysis, execution, and support of all assigned projects, including integration APIs, ETL/data pipelines, and AI‑enabling data flows; manage resource planning, team assignments, performance appraisals, budget awareness, and project documentation
  • Develop and manage project schedules; work closely with project teams to create detailed delivery plans, estimate effort, assign resources, and ensure adherence to application development, integration, and data standards; communicate status, risks, and dependencies to senior management and business sponsors
  • Participate in and contribute to the evolution of integration, ETL, data, and AI‑adjacent architecture, including patterns, standards, scalability, reliability, and operational readiness
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Developers delivering APIs, ETL pipelines, and distributed solutions, while fostering an environment focused on innovation, operational ownership, and career development
  • Lead teams effectively using Agile methodologies, aligning technical execution with business goals and applying strong emotional intelligence
  • Conduct daily and weekly team meetings (stand‑ups, sprint ceremonies, planning, retrospectives) to ensure delivery goals are met and team feedback is actively encouraged
  • Oversee work performed by internal and external technical resources, ensuring compliance with application, integration, ETL, security, and architecture guidelines
  • Serve as a primary contact for business partners, user groups, development teams, and management across retail, eCommerce, supply chain, and analytics initiatives
  • Identify issues, risks, and dependencies requiring escalation and clearly communicate options and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Approve software, integration, and data designs, and actively participate in technical strategy and roadmap discussions with business and technology stakeholders

Qualifications
  • Eight to ten (8–10) years of software development experience, including a minimum of four (4) years in a technical leadership or management role
  • Proven experience leading and managing Agile development teams delivering end‑to‑end integration and data solutions
  • Three to five (3–5) years of MuleSoft experience, including MuleSoft APIs, Anypoint Platform, and CloudHub, along with third-party application connectors (assessment, installation, API exposure and incorporation into workflows)
  • Experience designing and overseeing ETL and data integration pipelines supporting operational reporting, analytics, and AI‑driven use cases
  • Exposure to or experience supporting AI, automation, or agent‑based initiatives, with an understanding of data readiness, integration dependencies, and operational reliability
  • Ability to set goals, maintain sprint discipline (2‑week sprints), and motivate teams to consistently meet delivery commitments
  • Strong cross‑functional communication skills to plan and partner effectively with product, business, data, and operations teams
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO/TFS) including work items, task boards, source control, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands‑on experience with scalable Mule flows, error handling frameworks, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization
  • Experience using messaging or queuing mechanisms (e.g., ActiveMQ, Anypoint MQ) and asynchronous integration patterns
  • Detailed knowledge of database design and object‑relational database technologies
  • Strong balance of operational excellence and business understanding

 

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
