Key Responsibilities

•1. Technical Leadership: • Provide technical direction and leadership in projects related to warehouse management systems. • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in design and development. • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and clarify requirements.

2. Domain Expertise: • Apply in-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management to design efficient solutions. • Leverage expertise in warehouse automation to guide the development / redesign and refactoring of software products and platforms. • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in both domains to ensure competitive solutions.

3. Design and Development: • Prepare and review technical specifications, design documents, and architectural frameworks. • Guide teams in implementing solutions using appropriate tools, technologies, and methodologies. • Ensure the use of design patterns and principles to create scalable and maintainable systems.

4. Project Execution: • Oversee the preparation and approval of project deliverables, including test plans, design documents, and deployment artifacts. • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. • Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.

5. Mentoring and Coaching: • Provide technical mentoring and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

6. Process and Standards: • Ensure adherence to organizational processes and standards, including , CMMI, and ISO 9001. • Implement best practices in software development of warehouse management.

Required Skills and Qualifications: •

· Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent Engineering degree.

· Experience in development of Warehouse Execution Systems / Warehouse Management Systems

· 8+ years of experience in Java application development

· Experience in design and integration of applications across multiple enterprise and third party software systems

· Experience in analyzing legacy applications to find out architectural / design level gaps and rectify them.

· Should be proficient in Core Java, J2EE, Springboot, OODesign and Java architectures

· Experience in designing and developing web applications using Spring Boot, JPA, Messaging

· Experience in REST API design using Open API/ Swagger.

· Handson experience in developing microservices.

· Handson experience in containerization tools like Docker.

· Experience in writing unit tests and integration tests.

· Experience in DevOps tools – like git, maven, ssh

· Experience in any RDBMS (SQL Server/ MySQL/ Postgres/ Oracle)

· Experience in Agile development practices

· Ability to lead design and guide junior developers.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to work with all levels of management

· Experience in any cloud platform (Azure, AWS or Google)
