Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance experience, including at least 5 years focused on Energy and/or Construction sectors.
Underwriting or brokerage experience in Construction and Energy, with strong knowledge of underwriting and insurance needs for General Contractors, Subcontractors, and Construction Owners (e.g., technology companies, universities, healthcare organizations).
Deep expertise in downstream, midstream, and upstream Energy risks, including mining, oil & gas, renewable energy, power generation, and utilities.
Loss Sensitive underwriting knowledge for casualty lines, with proficiency across property, builders risk, financial lines, accident, life & health, and surety.
Existing relationships with brokers and agents in the Energy and Marine markets.
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and underwriting platforms such as Guidewire, PolicyCenter, Power BI, and the ability to self-serve reporting needs while partnering with underwriting and data science teams to holistically represent the customer relationship.
Strong capabilities in running executive‑level meetings and stewardship conversations that integrate Underwriting, Claims, Risk Engineering, and senior leadership for large accounts.
Deep customer and relationship management experience with strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
Demonstrated expertise in managing key customers and driving profitable business performance.
Ability to engage and influence C‑suite leaders with strong negotiation skills and thought leadership.
Knowledge of risk assessments and the ability to deliver clear, actionable risk insights.
Exceptional presentation, communication, time‑management, and multitasking skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management technologies.
