Appointment:

• High School Principal

Qualifications:

• Previous student group management experience preferred

• Ability to lead and provide feedback to coaches

• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and coaches

Reports to:

• High School Principal

Terms of Employment:

• Days of Employment - 225

Salary: See salary table. Not eligible for overtime.

Physical Qualifications:

• Shall have the ability to sit, stoop, possibly lift up to 50 pounds or more, and any/all body movements as related to the job description.

Job Goal:

• To assist the principal in administering an effective extra-curricular program, consistent with district and principal's vision and directives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all KHSAA sports and co-curricular activities, such as Band/Choir, Academic Team, JROTC, etc.

• Assist with recruitment and evaluation of coaches

• Maintain and submit accurate records

• Manage youth and other feeder programs in district

• Take necessary measures to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities

• Ensure all events present a positive image to GCHS families and adhere to all Board policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned by Principal
