Department Overview
McDonald's US Franchising Strategy team is aligned around a vision to make McDonald’s the greatest franchising opportunity for generations to come, supported by the industry's leading franchisor. The field placement manager leads and executes the franchisee placement process in support of the US Strategic Franchising vision and goals while supporting field office franchising strategy in collaboration with field and franchising leadership. In collaboration with key stakeholders, the manager is accountable for achieving strategic field placement goals annually while providing a seamless transition experience for applicants from qualified to buy to owner operator status.
Duties
- Execution of US Strategic Franchising Vision
- Participates and engages with field office franchising meetings to understand, prioritize, and support franchising needs
- Manages the placement process & experience for candidates from Qualified to Buy through to receiving keys in hand.
- Collaborates with USSF Teams, Field & MHQ stakeholders on execution of field franchising strategies and policies for placements and owner operator relocations.
- Coordinates with US & Field Finance, US Treasury on timely financing solutions to support new owner operators acquiring restaurants.
- Initial screening for viability of financials and valuations of restaurant sales packages for new buyers
- Schedules and leads Qualified to Buy (“QTB”) interview process
- Prepares weekly, monthly reporting, and analysis on placement progress towards USSF annual goals for USSF leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Prior experience in franchising, field operations, finance, real estate development, deal administration, or a related corporate environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow up skills, with the ability to manage multiple and complex transactions simultaneously
- Strong business and financial/P&L acumen, along with excellent oral and written communication skills, & proven ability of leveraging resources
- Experience analyzing financials, NRBES and vision plan for restaurant SBO process
- Strong interpersonal skills and aptitude with building rapport and relationships that drives effective stakeholder management across multiple disciplines
- Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment, and balance highly sensitive issues while managing competing priorities.
- Experience participating in structured interview processes and providing objective candidate evaluations

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $101,437.00 - $126,797.00 per year
